The Science Behind Pixar Exhibition Opens July 1st!

Pixar is a timed-entry exhibition. You can only enter at the time indicated on your ticket.

Enjoy a unique, first-time look into the Pixar filmmaking process, and explore the science and technology behind some of the most beloved animated films and their characters.

Your ticket also includes Science Centre Admission, Science Demonstrations and shows in the Margaret Zeidler Star Theatre. Want to also include an IMAX show? Consider the BIG BANG DAY PASS.

Action Heroes (Ages 6-7)

Your children will discover what it takes to be an action hero in this fast paced camp!

Campers will get to enhance their super human abilities as they train for Action Hero Challenges, meet some animals with amazing adaptations, and test their engineering skills as they build a rocket to be launched during the week.  Campers will do all of this while earning Action Badges.

Angry Birds Universe Day! (Home School)

November 16, 2016 10am-3pm

Come and experience this blockbuster exhibition based on the popular Angry Birds games. This day will be a truly immersive experience with drop in activities all day long in the Angry Birds Universe Exhibition as well as special programming in the Science Garage.

The feature IMAX for the day will be "Journey of Global Soundscapes: Mission to Record the Earth."

Animal Trackers (Ages 6-7)

From furs & claws to scales & tails, this camp explores them all!

You'll experience biology like never before through the tiny world of microbes using microscopes, getting up close and personal with our critters and getting your hands wet in our touch tanks!  

Exploration of the river valley at John Janzen Nature Centre will be another highlight of this camp. Come and take a walk on the wild side! 

Atoms (Ages 4-5)

Please note: Atoms is a 3 hour, half-day camp.

Calling all little explorers to our brand new camps for our youngest scientists!

Young campers will make HUGE discoveries as they create amazing masterpieces, visit Discoveryland and get their hands on some spectacular science.

Each of our four Science Tot camps follows a different theme, so you can send your curious tots to all four!

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (Presented in HINDI)

The long-awaited second part to Baahubali: The Beginning, one of the top-grossing Indian epic historical fantasy films of all time, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion picks up again with our hero Shivudu (Prabhas) as he comes to terms with his legacy and the responsibility placed on him by this knowledge. Shivudu s quest aims to find the answer to the question that s been plaguing fans of the franchise for years: Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali?

From slimy gloop to space food to perfect bridges, become the brainiac you know you are as you get elbow-deep in science.  By the end of the week, you'll have built the ultimate model rocket, experienced extreme science experiments and tested the laws of the universe.

This Brainiacs Camp is for children ages 8-9.

Construction & Destruction (Ages 10-12)

Tinkering and innovation are the foundation of new ideas!

Campers will have the opportunity to stretch their imagination to the fullest by testing out ideas, building contraptions and making gadgets and gizmos galore!

Throughout the week, activities will take them all around the building, creatively designing mechanisms to complete exciting new challenges.

DARK MATTERS Admission

Dark Matters is open to guests ages 18 and older.

You may be asked to show photo identification. No children under the age of 18 will permitted in the science centre during Dark Matters events.

Dino Diggers (Ages 6-7)

Does your child have a knack for remembering very complicated dinosaur names? Do they want to be a paleontologist when they grow up? Then this is the camp for them!!

Dino Diggers will use paleontological skills to uncover dinosaur fossils, eggs and bones. They will learn how dinosaurs walked, how big they were and get to invent their own dinosaur!

Campers will also get to meet modern animals and discover how they are related to dinos.

Dream Big 2D

This camp offers gamers the ultimate challenge; design and construct a video game using game design software!

Campers learn the basics including the creation of levels, adding characters and objects, behaviours and sound. When campers aren't working on games of their own, our instructors will provide game based challenges using Minecraft EDU software.

Welcome to the Journey of Global Soundscapes: The Mission to Record the Earth!

In this live, interactive IMAX presentation, you will learn all about soundscape ecology, tools that scientists use to record and analyze sounds and why recording the sounds of the Earth is important to understand the health and biodiversity of our world.
