Femmes In STEM!: International Women and Girls in Science Day

For Guide Groups using one link, please enter the number of attendees from 1 to 35, under the Group Rate. The Group rate is a flat rate of $10 based on 1 link for a Girl Guides unit, and the leader will get 1 link to share within the group.

Looking for something engaging and fun to do with your units in early February!?!

Join us for a fun-packed, virtual evening for FEMMES in STEM!

We wanted to celebrate International Women and Girls in Science Day in a special way, and what better way than to invite our future inventors, solution-creators and world changers…..the Girl Guides of Canada

We’ll start off the evening by chatting with a couple of amazing role model women in STEM.

Then get ready to jump into an exciting at-home STEM challenge that we will facilitate along with your girls, using materials that can be found around the home (List will be sent out the week prior in the event reminder email).

Then we’ll finish off the evening with a Q&A open discussion for the girls with our fabulous Femmes in STEM.

Registration is limited, so please claim your spots early.

When you register, you will need to know how many girls you will need access links for. The registration link will be sent out the day before event takes place, so please make sure the contact email you provide us with is for a guider that is capable of distributing the link to her unit members before the event takes place.

**For units in the greater Edmonton Area, we have awe-inspiring buttons of our favourite Femmes in STEM available for units that can arrange for curbside pick-up!!!
