PD Day Camps

Do you have a Curious Kid? A child who asks questions from morning till night? Put their curiosity to good use in this exciting camp! Campers will experience thrills, chills and spills as they investigate chemistry, biology, engineering and math! Campers will get to build and test a flying machine, and get messy in this science camp for everyone. 

Curious Kids will discover many aspects of STEAM in these fun general science camps. Each camp will be a little bit different and could include activities and experiments in chemistry, coding, nature, and space.

In addition to these activities, each camp will visit the Feature Gallery, see a movie in the IMAX theatre or watch a presentation in the Zeidler Dome during the camp.

Design, build, test, and demolish in Mighty Makers, our fun new maker camp just for children in Grades 1-3. Campers will be challenged to solve problems through the creative use of materials and tools. Explore the inner workings of toys, discover how tall a LEGO tower can be, and create will contraptions in the Science Garage. Whether a follower of building instructions or a build on the fly kind of kid, this camp is for all who love to build!

If you can dream it, you can build it! The best way to discover is to design, create, and build in The Science Garage this spring. Use awesome tools to test your ideas, build creative contraptions, and make useful gadgets to bring home. You'll finish this camp with new maker skills and a passion for creation! Campers will see one IMAX film on the day of the camp.

TELUS World of Science - Edmonton is pleased to offer some exciting PD Day Camps for the 2022-2023 school year.

Each camp has limited space, book early to avoid disappointment.

In addition to fun and engaging science activities, campers will get to explore the science center, watch an IMAX film or star show in the Zeidler Dome Theatre, and see a live science demonstration on the Syncrude Science Stage. Campers can come to multiple PD Day camps and experience something different each time.
