Over the course of 4 sessions, your students will learn the basics of coding and design and build their own game or app. We will adapt the program to suit your students skill level.

Across four interactive sessions students will learn about the planets in our solar system, why Earth has seasons, the movements of the Sun, Moon and stars, and constellations.

Your Human Guide will introduce you to this planet through virtual games, teach you ways to communicate with Earthlings, help you share stories about your home planet, and encourage you to do some star gazing.

Using practical demonstrations and thought exercises, students will evaluate what is needed to conduct a space mission. Over the course of four sessions students will consider the various destinations of space missions, the technologies used in spaceflight, navigation methods, and optical instruments.

A notorious science denier named Chad has infiltrated our S.P.A.C.E. gallery and sabotaged our rocket for the celebration of the Apollo 11 moon landing. He plans to hijack our event to convince people that science is all lies and that the historic moon landing was really filmed in Hollywood. He’s hidden the rocket, left cryptic messages, and the worst part? The countdown is on – it is one hour until launch. The media and people from around the world will be tuning in... No pressure!

We’re counting on your team to fix this. Help our scientist make sense of the mess Chad has left behind and put our rocket back together in time for the big launch. It won’t be easy, but we believe in you – you’re going to rocket!

What it is:

• An exciting hour-long virtual escape room experience.
• You will be virtually directing an avatar who is live onsite at TELUS World of Science - Edmonton, leading them in solving the puzzles.

• Accommodates a team of 2-8 players. We recommend 4-6 players for the best experience.
