Journey to Mecca 2D

Journey to Mecca tells the story of Ibn Battua, a great explorer in the 14th century.  A young scholar, who leaves Tangier on an epic and perilous journey, traveling alone from his home in Morocco to reach Mecca, some 3,000 miles to the east.  During his travels he is attacked by bandits, dying of thirst, rescued by Bedouins, joins thousands of pilgrims on the legendary Damascus Caravan, and many other countless obstacles.  Ibn Battuta's legacy is one of the greatest travel journals ever recorded as he traveled three times further than Marco Polo. You'll also discover the modern Hajj as three million Muslims from all over the world undertake the pilgrimage to Mecca still.

Lasting Impressions 3D

Lasting Impressions is a fully immersive 3D art and music experience that brings to life more than 100 of the world’s most famous French Impressionist masterworks. Audiences will experience the transformation of these masterpiece paintings as they come alive through cutting-edge 3D Motion Sculpting technology, inviting viewers to move into and through the canvas, thus fully inhabiting the worlds created by Monet, Degas, Van Gogh, Renoir, Pissarro, Seurat, Gauguin, Manet, Cezanne and others. As the paintings leap off the giant screen in stunning stereoscopy, audiences will sit with Renoir’s luncheon guests, dance with Degas’ ballerinas, float over Monet’s water lilies and soar into Van Gogh’s Starry Night, while rediscovering the emotional power of art. No computer? No problem! Through play with hands-on games and activities, students will explore coding concepts without electronic devices. This computational thinking session will help provide the foundation for writing computer programs.

Magnet Mysteries (Ages 9-10)

Someone is attempting to take over the Science Centre and the only way to stop them is with magnets! While exploring puzzles and solving clues, learners use their knowledge of magnets to stop the destruction of the Science Centre before it's too late!

Make A Sound (Ages 6-8)

How does sound travel? How does the ear detect vibration? In this instrumental program, explore how sounds are created and changed through ears-on experiments and demonstrations.

Mission SPACE (Ages 10-12)

Ground control to Lunar Lander! Your mission: Discover the landing code and successfully land on the moon!

In this 45-minute program, students will explore the SPACE Gallery to complete challenges and puzzles and uncover the landing code they need to land on the moon. This student-driven gallery experience will give your students the opportunity to review the SPACE Unit in a fun, hands-on interaction with thee SPACE Gallery.

Nature Explorers (Ages 10-14)

Explore the natural world! Students will enjoy a curriculum-based nature walk, journal their observations and learnings, spend time in the Nature Exchange identifying rocks, pinecones, seashells and other trinkets found in the great outdoors. Robots 3D

Today's robots are nothing short of astonishing. Those coming in the not-too-distant future are simply revolutionary and they are becoming eerily like us. ROBOTS 3D is a sneak peek into the future at what might be possible as scientists use innovative engineering and design to make cyber characters less "humanoid" and more just plain human. Robot "actor" RoboThespian will introduce you to CHIMP, ATLAS, PR-2, Herb the Butler, ICUB, and others as he takes you on an amazing tour of what's going on in robotics labs around the world.
