Sip & Science: Cosmos (August 8th)

The Science Centre is putting adults in the spotlight and giving you the chance to play your way through ‘Stardust: The Universe in You’. A cosmic journey awaits you as you explore the connections between the stars, the Earth, and YOU. Take your time to grab a drink, explore this incredible feature exhibition, and even sit down with a board game!

Your ticket to Sip & Science: Cosmos includes access to the ‘Stardust: The Universe in You’ exhibition, to the ‘Health Zone’ gallery, and to a live “The Sky Tonight” show in the Zeidler Dome Theater.

They'll design and build their own simple video game and program robots to tackle exciting challenges.

Coding for Kids camp is designed to empower young minds going into grades three and four to become tech-savvy problem solvers, as they explore the foundations of coding and robotics. Campers will design and build video games, program robots, and discover how coding is an integral part of our everyday lives! Through engaging on- and off-screen activities, they will learn the core principles of algorithms, sequencing, abstraction, and loops while discovering the boundless creativity and real-world applications that coding and robotics offers.

Through engaging activities and outdoor exploration, they'll learn how their actions impact the environment and what they can do to help protect it. Summer Science Camp LIT Program

Are you a young individual between the ages of 13 and 17, who is interested in science and looking to discover your potential as a future leader? If so, our Science Camp Leaders in Training program is the perfect opportunity for you!

The Science Camp Leaders in Training program is designed to empower and educate young individuals while working in a safe and supported environment. Participants will gain valuable knowledge and skills while exploring science topics and working with children in summer camps that will benefit their personal growth and prepare them to excel in future leadership roles. Develop skills, meet new people, and have fun in science camps!

Registrants must be 13 years old before July 1, 2025, to participate in this program.
