This is a TWO-Day Camp

Join us for an exciting adventure in the natural world! Eco Explorers is a hands-on science camp where young nature enthusiasts in grades three and four will discover how humans and wildlife coexist in urban environments. Campers will explore the local park, investigate urban ecosystems, and uncover how animals and plants adapt to city life. Through engaging activities and outdoor exploration, they'll learn how their actions impact the environment and what they can do to help protect it. Eco Explorers is the perfect blend of science, nature, and fun!

*Campers must be prepared with proper winter gear to go outside each day, weather permitting. Campers will go outside if the temperature stays above -23 degrees Celsius. If it is too cold, alternative indoor activities will replace outdoor ones.

This must-see evening laser show combines the rockin' sound of Pink Floyd and an amazing laser light show that dances across the Zeidler Dome Theatre!

In Jr. Scientists, campers will dive into a multitude of STEAM disciplines, where they will participate in exciting chemistry activities, take part in programming challenges, and use the scientific method to experiment in a variety of ways.

The love of science starts early! Join us for an 8 week class full of engaging science for young children in a supportive and exploratory environment. Through storybooks, songs, hands-on activities, and full-body play we will learn about the science that surrounds us while strengthening science literacy and motor skills. Children and their caregivers will play and learn together as they discover dinosaurs, explore nature, blast-off to outer space, and more!

Highlights:

Each week is themed around a different science concept including: engineering, dinosaurs, colours, health, animals, and more!

Each class concludes with ample time for free play exploration with our themed science experiences

Science Tots includes access to our galleries so you and your child can play in CuriousCITY or watch a Zeidler Dome show after class

The sessions on Sundays and Wednesdays are the same. Please do not register your tot for both days. When registering for a Sunday session, you must select a time, and then remain in the same time throughout the sessions.

For Members registering their tot, please use the name of ONE adult on the membership to book a spot. You will be prompted later for the name of the tot as the registrant.

FAQs:

Do I have to attend the class with my child?

Yes. Each child must be accompanied by an adult. Please do not bring unregistered siblings to the class. However, infants under 12 months old are welcome to join with their older sibling and caregiver if needed.

What is the cancellation policy?

To request a refund for cancellation of the registered program, please send a written email request at least 21 days before the program's start date. Refunds or transfers will not be provided if the notice is given less than 21 days before the program's start date. Please note that a $15 administration fee will be deducted from all refunds. During a forbidden excursion to see the surface world, a goldfish princess encounters a human boy named Sosuke, who gives her the name Ponyo. Ponyo longs to become human, and as her friendship with Sosuke grows, she becomes more humanlike. In remote Antarctica, a group of American research scientists are disturbed at their base camp by a helicopter shooting at a sled dog. When they take in the dog, it brutally attacks both human beings and canines in the camp and they discover that the beast can assume the shape of its victims.
