After a serious car crash, novelist Paul Sheldon (James Caan) is rescued by former nurse Annie Wilkes (Kathy Bates), who claims to be his biggest fan. Jack Torrance (Jack Nicholson) becomes winter caretaker at the isolated Overlook Hotel in Colorado, hoping to cure his writer's block. The love of science starts early! Join us for an 8 week class full of engaging science for young children in a supportive and exploratory environment. Through storybooks, songs, hands-on activities, and full-body play we will learn about the science that surrounds us while strengthening science literacy and motor skills. Children and their caregivers will play and learn together as they discover dinosaurs, explore nature, blast-off to outer space, and more!

Highlights:

Each week is themed around a different science concept including: engineering, dinosaurs, colours, health, animals, and more!

Each class concludes with ample time for free play exploration with our themed science experiences

Science Tots includes access to our galleries so you and your child can play in CuriousCITY or watch a Zeidler Dome show after class

The sessions on Sundays and Wednesdays are the same. Please do not register your tot for both days. When registering for a Sunday session, you must select a time, and then remain in the same time throughout the sessions.

For Members registering their tot, please use the name of ONE adult on the membership to book a spot. You will be prompted later for the name of the tot as the registrant.

FAQs:

Do I have to attend the class with my child?

Yes. Each child must be accompanied by an adult. Please do not bring unregistered siblings to the class. However, infants under 12 months old are welcome to join with their older sibling and caregiver if needed.

What is the cancellation policy?

To request a refund for cancellation of the registered program, please send a written email request at least 21 days before the program's start date. Refunds or transfers will not be provided if the notice is given less than 21 days before the program's start date. Please note that a $15 administration fee will be deducted from all refunds.
