In Earth's future, a global crop blight and second Dust Bowl are slowly rendering the planet uninhabitable. From the noisy colony of Jackass penguins in Boulder Beach, South Africa, to the world's smallest (and cutest) penguins down under, this is a tale of two adorable families and their unexpected protectors, be it the human kind or four legged friend. We'll follow one penguin chick from each population, Australian and African, on their lifelong journeys from hatchling to hero, as they waddle, hop and belly flop their way to adulthood, looking for love and forming their own penguin families.
