Embark on an out-of-this-world adventure with Mars Missions camp, designed exclusively for campers in Grades 5 and 6. This unique camp takes place in the historic Queen Elizabeth Planetarium* and offers an incredible opportunity for young explorers to discover if they have what it takes to live on Mars. Campers will step into the shoes of future Mars colonists as they design and build their own Mars base. They'll learn about the challenges of life on the Red Planet, including extreme temperatures, thin atmosphere, and radiation, and design structures that can withstand these harsh conditions.

*Please note  Camp participants will be dropped off and picked up at the Science Centre, then travel to and from the Queen Elizabeth Planetarium together. Drop off and pick up will not be at the Queen Elizabeth Planetarium.

These camps are geared towards campers who have completed Grade 4 and will be attending Grade 5 or Grade 6 in the fall of 2024. In addition to themed camp activities, campers will explore the galleries, see an IMAX film, experience a star show in the Zeidler Dome Theatre, and watch a live science demonstration.
