Flight of the Butterflies is an interconnected scientific adventure story that spans not only thousands of miles, but generations. It s about the remarkable monarch butterfly migration, the longest known insect migration on Earth, and the determined scientist who spent 40 years trying to discover exactly where the butterflies mysteriously disappeared when they flew south for winter.
The film is shown in 2D, no special glasses required.
The quality of the film is intact, theater light levels are brighter and volume is turned down.
You are welcome to come and go as you wish throughout the performance. A relaxation zone is available in the IMAX lobby if you need a break.
The Purple Pear will be open for concession snacks.
