Coding for Kids camp is designed to empower young minds in Grades 3 and 4 to become tech-savvy problem solvers, as they explore the foundations of coding, design and build video games, program robots, and discover how coding is an integral part of our everyday lives. Through engaging activities, they will learn the core principles of algorithms, sequencing, abstraction, and loops while discovering the boundless creativity and real-world applications that coding offers.

These camps are geared toward campers who have completed Grade 2 and will be attending either Grade 3 or Grade 4 in the fall of 2024. In addition to themed camp activities, campers will explore the galleries, see an IMAX film, experience a star show in the Zeidler Dome Theatre, and watch a live science demonstration.

Megabytes Coding camp is an exciting and immersive coding camp designed for students in Grades 5 and 6. This unique summer camp experience is a deep dive into the fascinating world of coding, offering campers the opportunity to explore a wide array of cutting-edge technology topics. From video game development and artificial intelligence to robotics programming, campers will embark on a coding adventure that combines education with fun.

This camp is for everyone! No previous coding experience needed!

The first original large-format dinosaur film in over a decade, Dinosaurs of Antarctica will introduce audiences to the amazing and bizarre prehistoric creatures that inhabited Antarctic forests and swamps hundreds of millions of years ago. With major support provided by the National Science Foundation, the film follows a team of paleoecologists on a quest to understand the southern continent's profound transformation, from a warm and bio-diverse Mesozoic to the frozen desert we know today.
