Electric Car Garage - Home School Program (Grade 5)

Transform your class into mechanics, electricians, and car designers as they construct a fully functioning electric car to take back to school. They will have the opportunity to perform simple circuit problem-solving, and race against their friends!

Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix: An IMAX 3D Experience

Now in his fifth year at Hogwarts, Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) learns that many in the wizarding community do not know the truth of his encounter with Lord Voldemort. Cornelius Fudge, minister of Magic, appoints his toady, Dolores Umbridge, as Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, for he fears that professor Dumbledore will take his job. But her teaching is deficient and her methods, cruel, so Harry prepares a group of students to defend the school against a rising tide of evil.

Robotics Lab - Home School Program (Grade 5)

Your students will experience machines on a whole different level with our new EV3 robots. Our LEGO® MINDSTORMS CENTER will have students working through a series of challenges as they learn how to program their robot.

Students will use sound sensors, light sensors, and many more to finish tasks and beat our obstacle courses.

To The Arctic takes you on a never before seen journey into the lives of a mother polar bear and her two seven-month old cubs as they navigate the changing Arctic wilderness they call home.  Captivating, adventurous, and intimate footage brings you up close and personal with this family s struggle to survive and thrive in a frigid environment of melting ice, immense glaciers, spectacular waterfalls, and majestic snow-bound peaks.

What lies beyond our tiny globe?

Students will unveil the mysteries of the night sky. Engage your class in learning about stars, from their composition to stellar objects that have landed on Earth.

Students will travel to moons, other planets, and beyond as they discover some of the superstars in space.

Come Fly With Me - Home School Program (Grade 6)

This program has been taken to new heights!

Students will experiment with how and why things fly. Join them as they get involved in hands-on activities which explore lift, drag, and aerodynamics. Each student will build an airplane to take back to school.

Grade 6 Forensic Lab - Home School Program

This true-to-life forensics lab program was developed in partnership with the RCMP.

Experiment alongside your students as they explore chromatography, ballistics, glass reconstruction, counterfeit detection, fingerprint recovery and more!

Laboratory Safety: For the safety of all participants in our science laboratory, all students must wear long pants and closed shoes while participating in TELUS World of Science Lab Programs. Please, no skirts, shorts or sandals.

Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince: An IMAX 3D Experience

As Death Eaters wreak havoc in both Muggle and Wizard worlds, Hogwarts is no longer a safe haven for students. Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows Part 1: An IMAX 3D Experience

Without the guidance and protection of their professors, Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson) begin a mission to destroy the Horcruxes, the sources of Voldemort's immortality. Though they must rely on one another more than ever, dark forces threaten to tear them apart. Voldemort's Death Eaters have seized control of the Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts, and they are searching for Harry -- even as he and his friends prepare for the ultimate showdown.

While exploring the particle model, students will learn about the difference between conduction, convection, and radiation.

Roller Coaster Science - Home School Program (Grade 7)

Creativity is in full throttle as your students design and build their own model roller coaster!

Students will examine the various forces that cause the roller coaster to behave the way it does. Actions of the coaster will be described using the principles of potential and kinetic energy, velocity, inertia, gravity, and friction.
