The Science Camp Leaders in Training program is designed to empower and educate young individuals about leadership while working in a safe and supported environment. Participants will gain valuable knowledge and leadership skills that will not only benefit their personal growth but also prepare them to excel in future leadership roles. Develop skills, get hands on experience, and have fun in science camps!  

Registrants must be 13 years old on or before July 1, 2024, to participate in this program.

KinderScience Half Day Camps offer a captivating and educational experience for children ages 4-5 who are gearing up for their exciting kindergarten adventure the fall of 2024. Are you ready for a summer full of scientific adventures, fun-filled experiments, and exciting challenges? Welcome to Curious Kids camp, specially designed for curious minds in Grades one and two! Campers will embark on a journey of discovery, uncovering the wonders of the natural world, delving into the mysteries of chemistry, programming robots, and engaging in thrilling building challenges.

These full day camps are geared towards campers who have completed Kindergarten and will be attending either Grade 1 or Grade 2 in the fall of 2024. In addition to themed camp activities, campers will explore the galleries, see an IMAX film, experience a star show in the Zeidler Dome Theatre, and watch a live science demonstration.

If your camper loves to design, build, and test then these maker style camps are for them! In these two-day long camps, campers will get to use their hands and brains to solve problems using their engineering skills. In addition to gallery visits, campers will get to see an IMAX film or a Zeidler Dome Planetarium show and participate in a lot of fun hands on activities. These may include, but are not limited to, creating structures and testing their strength, building catapults, using recycled technology to create unique art pieces, building toys switches for children with special needs, taking part in LEGO building challenges, or programming robots to dismantle small structures. Each PD Day will be different, so campers coming to more than one PD Day Camp will experience something new each time.

Extreme Weather is an up-close look at some of the most astonishing and potentially deadly natural phenomena, tornadoes, glaciers, and wildfires while showing how they are interconnected and changing our world in dramatic ways.
