PD Day Camps

Design, build, test, and demolish in Mighty Makers, our fun new maker camp just for children in Grades 1-3. Campers will be challenged to solve problems through the creative use of materials and tools. Explore the inner workings of toys, discover how tall a LEGO tower can be, and create will contraptions in the Science Garage. Whether a follower of building instructions or a build on the fly kind of kid, this camp is for all who love to build!

If your camper loves to design, build, and test then these maker style camps are for them! In these two-day long camps, campers will get to use their hands and brains to solve problems using their engineering skills. In addition to gallery visits, campers will get to see an IMAX film or a Zeidler Dome Planetarium show and participate in a lot of fun hands on activities. These may include, but are not limited to, creating structures and testing their strength, building catapults, using recycled technology to create unique art pieces, building toys switches for children with special needs, taking part in LEGO building challenges, or programming robots to dismantle small structures. Each PD Day will be different, so campers coming to more than one PD Day Camp will experience something new each time.
